The Pharmacy Technician will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.

This position works at least 24 hours per week, primarily Monday-Friday. The role follows a rotating schedule, which always includes working every 3rd weekend and every 3rd holiday. The schedule also includes vacation coverage as needed. Hours may vary based on departmental needs.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active Louisiana state Pharmacy Technician license in good standing

• PTCB/CPhT
• Recent work experience as a Pharmacy Technician, ideally in a hospital or outpatient setting
• Proficiency with pharmacy software

The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.15 to $28.80 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
