Advanced Field Service Engineer – Honeywell
You will provide advanced technical support and expertise to our customers in the Industrial Automation (IA) business unit. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, ensuring successful implementation of our solutions, and driving customer satisfaction. You will play a crucial role in the success of our field service operations and the growth of our business.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues for customers – Honeywell Experion System (EPKS)
- Provide advanced technical support and expertise for Honeywell Distributed Control Systems (DCS) hardware
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful solution implementation to Honeywell customers
- Perform daily and periodic inspections, maintenance, and upgrades of customers’ Experion Systems
- Stay updated with industry trends and implement recommendations based on the latest technology improvements from industry and Honeywell
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in field service engineering, focusing on Honeywell Process Control Systems
- Experience with Honeywell DCS systems and related PLCs and controls
- Strong technical knowledge in Industrial Automation technologies and Control System Networking
- Knowledge of Control System Firmware Updates and Release Migrations
- Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
- Effective communication of complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Strong customer focus and ability to build and maintain relationships
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Technology
- Strong leadership and independent contributor skills as part of a Field Service Engineering team
- Continuous learning mindset and willingness to stay updated with industry and Honeywell advancements
- Results‑oriented approach and ability to drive initiatives to successful completion
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities
