Job DetailsCompensation: Towne Park offers competitive compensation. Actual compensation is based on skills, experience, education or training, and location. The hourly base pay range for this position is $10.98 per hour plus $4-$7 per hour in tips.
Work Schedule: The work schedule for this position is AM/PM.
Benefits: Employees are eligible to enroll in accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, and telemedicine benefits. Employees may enroll in the company’s 401k retirement savings plan. Eligibility requirements depend on job classification, length of employment and hours worked. Benefits are subject to change and may be limited by plan terms. Seasonal and temporary roles are not eligible for benefits described above.
SummaryThe Guest Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner. The Guest Service Associate is responsible for parking and retrieving guest vehicles in a prompt yet safe manner and assisting guests with luggage, including delivery and pick up of guest luggage where applicable during arrival and departure.

- Maintains a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, coworkers, and clients. Acknowledges and greets guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor. Uses guest last names during interactions. (Approx. 25%)
- Greets guests, practices proper Towne Park phone etiquette, and assists with tasks as assigned. (Approx. 10%)
- Parks and retrieves vehicles safely and efficiently. Assists guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed. Opens vehicle and hotel doors for guests. (Approx. 20%)
- Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries; provides information about facility amenities and local attractions. Delivers messages, items, and guest amenities as requested. Shuttles guests as approved by location. (Approx. 10%)
- Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures; issues claim checks when receiving keys and collects claims from guests. Maintains ticket information in the valet system and computes revenue as needed. (Approx. 35%)
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work, or within a commutable distance where applicable
- One (1) month related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings
- Basic arithmetic and money handling abilities
- Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Paralleled parking ability
- Job is fairly routine. Tasks follow established practices and procedures. Work is performed under specific directions and checked frequently. Decisions are made within operational instructions and guidelines. Errors could affect department operations.
