- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and a sense of urgency.
- Maintain strong knowledge of all hotel facilities and amenities.
- Support all groups and events held at the hotel.
- Use relevant technology for the role.
- Answer all incoming calls with friendly service using the approved greeting.
- Ensure all work spaces are kept clean, well‑organized, and safe.
- Participate in team cleaning efforts to maintain hotel standards.
- Follow all checklists to 100% accuracy and complete shift handover reports on time.
- Wear a clean, approved uniform and maintain grooming standards.
- Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with teammates and guests.
- Display a can‑do attitude and willingness to stretch beyond the traditional role to meet business needs.
- Respond to all guest repair requests and document completion via the electronic work order platform.
- Keep preventative maintenance work up to date and on schedule per the hotel PM program.
- Follow all safety and health codes, report emergencies, and respond correctly to emergencies.
- Conduct full property walks at the beginning and end of each shift, documenting and addressing maintenance needs.
- Maintain clean and organized maintenance areas during and after each shift.
- Management performance ratings and guest satisfaction scores.
- GM/AGM spot checks, leadership walk‑throughs, and guest ratings/reviews.
- Checklist tracking and management performance ratings.
- Technical, trade or vocational school degree preferred.
- At least 2 years of work‑related experience in a commercial facility, hospitality or related field preferred.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures.
- Ability to work well under stressful, high‑pressure situations.
- Effective listening, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
- Strong desire to serve guests.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Willingness to work a varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Accurate time‑keeping for clock‑in/out, breaks, and scheduled shifts.
- Provide sufficient notice for call‑outs as directed by supervisor.
- Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
- Read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English.
