* ** Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) I*
* The Construction Surveillance Technician's primary function is to provide day to day security in support of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) & Special Access Program (SAP) construction efforts.

** Performance shall include:*
* + Assesses, identifies and communications recommendations for improvements of policies, procedures, or systems.

+ Identifies threats, vulnerabilities, and potential risks.

+ Drafts security incident reports and briefs government and civilian agencies including military senior leaders.

+ Manages uniformed escort personnel and associated logs; assigns, trains, briefs site security duties and ensures timely reporting of security incidents to site lead.

+ Follow and enforce customers' Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

+ Perform miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the contractor site lead and/or the Senior Security Representative

+ Shall conduct inspections of materials being delivered for utilization in construction of secure spaces.

+ Will photograph and continuously monitor the construction of secure spaces and document all steps in order to support final accreditation packets.

+ Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts towards 3 years of experience.

+ Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts towards 5 years of experience.

+ Maximum equivalent experience for SPED Certifications is no more than 5 years.

* + Bachelor's degree is desired and counts towards 4 years of experience. Associates degree counts towards 2 years of experience.

* + Knowledgeable on Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 (on SCIFs and compliance with uniform IC physical and technical security requirements)

+ SAP experience is desired

** Required Training:*
* + Complete additional safety training and/or certification as required by local site (i.e., OSHA 10 Construction Safety, OSHA Fall Protection and OSHA Confined Space) within the first 30 days of hire.

+ Must obtain CDSE STEPP ICD 705 Physical Security Construction Requirements for SAP course completion within the first 30 days of hire.

The likely salary range for this position is $71,400 - $96,600. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
