• Has 2 years experience working in customer service and/or the food service industry
• Can work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Has a reputation for giving great service to guests and coworkers
• Is enthusiastic about sharing our Aloha Spirit with our guests
• Can maintain a pleasant smile and demeanor throughout the shift
• Can handle multiple tasks at one time
• Is self-motivated, especially under pressure
• Is able to maintain "on stage" presence throughout shift-
• Is able to learn and retain new flavors/ingredients
• Communicates Aloha in person and over the phone
• Has good problem-solving skills
• Is able to pass and practice the Maui County Department of Liquor Test
• Is able to pass and practice the TiPS training course
• Is able to pass and practice the Food Handlers training course

• Makes eye contact and greets guests with Aloha and enthusiasm
• Treats customers and co-workers with courtesy and respect
• Can lift and carry up to 20 pounds
• Can communicate effectively to both customers and co-workers during busy periods
• Accurately describes menu items and daily specials in an appealing way
• Suggests items to create a positive experience for guests regardless of sales price
• Execute heroic guest service
• Participates in food delivery to guests as available
• Communicates to supervisors when help is needed to maintain customer service
• Is knowledgeable of the menu and able to answer guests questions
• Pre-busses tables for faster clearing/cleaning
• Clears and Cleans tables own section as a priority and others as available
• Positively responds to requests for assistance from co-workers and guests
• Remains within viewing of the guests throughout shift
• Takes initiative to help in any area of the restaurant when slow
• Complete side work in a timely manner and accurate
