We are looking for a Restaurant Server to join our team at Mother's Market & Kitchen
.

As a Restaurant Server, you’ll create memorable guest experiences through friendly service, attention to detail, and a passion for food. You’ll serve meals, assist guests, and help maintain a warm, welcoming environment where quality and care come first.

Hourly Pay: $16.90 hourly

• Serve hot and cold food items in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment
• Interact with guests and team members to ensure timely, accurate orders
• Explain menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and with care
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining area, and serving stations
• Assist with beverage preparation (hot and cold drinks)
• Act as host when needed and ensure guests feel welcome
• Operate POS systems, handle payments, and follow proper cash procedures
• Report safety hazards, maintenance needs, or accidents to management
• Support teammates during busy periods and shift transitions

• Prior restaurant or serving experience preferred
• Basic math skills and comfort using a point‑of‑sale system
• Strong communication skills; fluent in English
• Knowledge of food handling, safety, and presentation standards
• Friendly, approachable, and reliable
• Ability to stay focused and composed during high‑volume service
• Enthusiastic about guest satisfaction and teamwork
• Willing to jump into other roles as needed (e.g., host, runner, busser)

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Lift and carry trays or food items (up to 50 lbs.) up to 100 times/day
• Bend, reach, and kneel regularly; work in hot or cold environments
• Comfortable working in a busy, sometimes noisy setting
• Available to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
