Subject: Social Studies – Around the World

Schedule: Mondays, 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM

This is a 1-day/week position for the remainder of the school year
, with strong potential to grow into a 4–5 day role next school year

Creative STEAM is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit learning center offering an innovative alternative to traditional schooling. We serve TK–8th grade students in small-group, hands-on project based learning environments that emphasize curiosity, exploration, and real-world skills. Our programs are supported by community partnerships, fundraisers, and scholarships that expand access to meaningful education.

• Create engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons
• Teach beginning reading and math skills
• Support social-emotional growth and classroom community
• Use a variety of instructional methods and hands-on learning
• Communicate effectively with families and staff
• Assess student progress and developmental milestones
• Collaborate with a supportive, mission-driven team

• Bachelor’s degree and Multi-Subject Teaching Credential
• Strong understanding of child development and classroom management
• Experience in elementary education and curriculum development
• Ability to maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards
