Pharmacy Cashier

Pharmacy Cashier – Walgreens.
Location: Orange, CA.

$17.50/hr – $19.00/hr

• Register sales on the assigned cash register, handle cash, give correct change, and process voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
• Provide courteous and efficient checkout service, offering assistance with products and services.
• Engage customers and patients, greet them, offer help, resolve issues, and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Recommend items for sale and related items, assist with over‑the‑counter products, and guide customers to aisles when appropriate.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient prescription status and report prescription errors to the pharmacist immediately.
• Maintain counters and shelves, keep the store clean, take inventory, and manage displays.
• Implement company asset protection procedures, ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products, and follow all company policies and procedures.
• Assist with interior and exterior maintenance, ensuring a clean and orderly store condition.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as directed.

• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

• Preference for at least six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Preference for prior work experience with Walgreens.
