Position
UC Irvine – Nurse Practitioner II – Hematology/Oncology Division
Location: Orange, CA |
Salary Range: $140,000 – $180,000 |

Advanced practice NP responsible for comprehensive care of patients with hematologic malignancies in ambulatory and inpatient settings. Works under Medical Director supervision and collaborates with multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities- Provide advanced NP care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, monitoring and coordination.
- Maintain patient documentation, progress notes, and multidisciplinary communication.
- Participate in clinical protocols, quality improvement and evidence‑based practice initiatives.
- Adhere to state scope of practice, procurement of privileges and credentialing requirements.
- Current, active, unrestricted California Registered Nurse license.
- Current, active, unrestricted California Nurse Practitioner license.
- Graduated from an accredited NP program.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification.
- Current NP National Board Certification: FNP‑BC or FNP‑C, AGPCNP‑BC, AGNP‑C, AGACNP‑BC or ACNPC‑AG, Adult NP‑BC or Adult NP‑C.
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Certification (ACONP) and/or ONS Chemotherapy Certification within 3 months of hire.
- At least 2 years hematology/oncology experience and at least 2 years infusion center experience.
- Experience with clinical trial patient participation.
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
- Ability to obtain UCI–MC Allied Health Professional Privileges prior to hire.
