This position offers an opportunity to provide excellent patient care and customer service with a breakthrough treatment modality for the treatment of depression. As a TMS Technician you will administer in-office therapeutic treatments under the direction of a treating physician. In addition to managing clinical services, you will interact regularly with patients with a focus on customer service and administrative support.

Essential Job Functions:
- Collaborate with providers, admissions, and practice administrator to assure patient scheduling and care delivery is completed timely and effectively
- Address any patient’s medical conditions or symptoms
- Responsible for operating a medical/mechanical device
- Support office with daily operations of the facility to include knowledge of all aspects of behavioral health services
- Check in or check-out patients, verifies demographics with each clinic visit
- Verify/collect payments for all patient check-in
- Answers telephones on a timely basis and takes messages/schedules appointments as necessary
- Explain and administer patient treatment procedures
- Monitor a patient for medical symptoms
- Provide medical intervention in an emergency situation
- Support clinic patient satisfaction process
- Follow established treatment and office procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by TMS Coordinator and Office Manager
Core Competencies:
- Basic life support certification and first aid.
- Contribute to a positive work environment
- Act courteously and with tact in dealing with patients, visitors, and the public
- Proficient working within medical practice software system
- Ability to Maintain patient confidentiality
- Maintain a high degree of accuracy regarding all details
- Physically able to walk, stand, stoop, and bend, with Visual and auditory dexterity
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with exposure to some data management software experience
Knowledge, Education, & Experience:
- Familiarity with clinical scheduling and insurance principles
- One or more years of related experience in a healthcare setting, preferred

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to do the following:
- Engages in sustained power grasping and pushing/pulling motions
- Exposure to dust, gas, odors, liquids, or fumes
- Intermittent lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, transporting object usually by hand, arm, or shoulder

- The ability to respond quickly to emergency situations, which may involve running or moving rapidly.
- Frequent standing and walking for extended periods, often throughout the entire shift.
- Potential exposure to infectious diseases, blood borne pathogens, and hazardous materials, requiring adherence to safety and PPE protocols.
Arbitration Agreement:
As a condition of employment, all candidates must agree to and sign a pre-employment arbitration agreement. This agreement requires that any disputes arising out of or related to employment with Discovery Practice Management will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than through litigation in court.
Employment Status:Full Time
Schedule:Monday-Friday 6 am - 7 pm with some Saturday mornings, 30-40 hours per week
Compensation:
Pay Range:$20 - $25 per hour
