Welder and Equipment Repair Technician

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Welder and Equipment Repair Technician to join our diesel shop maintenance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring the proper functioning and safety of our equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with welding, compactor repair, and a basic understanding of electrical wiring and hydraulics.

• Perform welding repairs and fabrication on various equipment and machinery.
• Conduct maintenance and repairs on compactors and related equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to determine necessary repairs.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repair projects.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.

• Proven experience in welding and equipment repair, preferably in a construction or industrial setting.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring and hydraulic systems is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
