Pay Range: $33 - $59/hour. Competitive compensation with night shift differentials.
Key Responsibilities:- Shift: Night Shift
- Schedule:
Full-time - Exemplary Practice: Perform comprehensive nursing care for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients.
- Monitor fetal heart tones, manage labor progression, assist with deliveries, and provide immediate newborn care.
- Provide relationship-based, culturally competent care.
- Teamwork &
Collaboration:
Coordinate care with obstetricians, midwives, neonatal staff, and other healthcare professionals. - Maintain clear, respectful communication and documentation within a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
- Emergency Response: Function decisively and competently during obstetric emergencies (e.g., fetal distress, hemorrhage, pre-eclampsia).
- Utilize ACLS and NRP protocols as needed.
- Patient Advocacy &
Education:
Partner with patients and families to provide education, emotional support, and advocacy throughout the childbirth experience. - Professional Development: Complete all required competencies and education. Serve as a preceptor/mentor to develop the future L&D nursing workforce.

Experience:
- Key skills;
Current RN license (Georgia or Compact State) - Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certification (required upon hire or within 180 days)
- Minimum 2 years of direct patient care experience
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing is
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is strongly preferred
. - Licensure/Certification:
- Current RN License in the State of Georgia or a Multi-State Compact License.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required upon hire.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required upon hire or within 180 days.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required upon hire or within 180 days.
- AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) certification is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of direct patient care experience is required.
- Experience in Mother/Baby, Antepartum, or a related women's health specialty is desirable.
- Recent Labor & Delivery experience is highly preferred.
- Expertise in fetal monitoring interpretation and labor management.
- Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and customer service skills.
- Ability to function calmly, decisively, and respectfully in emergencies.
- Strong critical thinking, time management, and clinical judgment.
