The Manufacturing Hourly Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily maintenance activities, managing a team of maintenance technicians, scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring equipment reliability to support production goals. This role reports to the Engineering/Maintenance Manager and works closely with production and safety teams to maintain a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment.
Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team.
- Plan, assign, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot equipment and machinery issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and spare parts inventory.
- Collaborate with production leadership to schedule repairs with minimal disruption.
- Ensure all maintenance activities meet safety and regulatory standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance team members.
- Support capital projects and equipment installations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred.
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficient in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
