Key Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair facilities and equipment (including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic and hydraulic systems) such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, etc.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities.
- Devise, fabricate and assemble new or modified mechanical components for industrial machinery or equipment and measuring instruments.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Use CMMS system to track and gather information on maintenance activities.
- Use a multimeter, a variety of hand and power tools, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Initiate corrective and preventative action within the scope of your responsibility.
- Follow all safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out procedures when necessary.
- Keep work area and tools clean and orderly.
Qualifications:
- Two (2) years of industrial maintenance experience is required, five (5) or more years of experience preferred.
- Mechanical ability to complete tasks such as replacing motors, repairing plumbing issues, etc.
- Electrical troubleshooting experience
- Experience with CMMS software
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
- Knowledge of 5S or Lean manufacturing principles a plus
- Ability to perform multiple tasks.
- Basic Windows and Microsoft Office knowledge desired
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work independently as necessary.
- Capable of working flexible hours, overtime when necessary.
- This position involves travel to two Mountville Rubber locations within 1 mile of each other.
