Job DescriptionThe Porter complements quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles prior to delivery, and maintains the appearance and cleanliness of shop and office facilities.
Key Job Responsibilities- Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
- Maintain daily housekeeping of the office interior, including removing trash, cleaning floors, dusting countertops, and preparing work areas.
- Maintain daily housekeeping of the production area: empty waste cans, sweep floors, dispose of unwanted vehicle parts, and place tools and equipment in their proper locations.
- Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary.
- Pre‑wash customer vehicles before repairs begin.
- Clean the exterior and interior of customer vehicles after repairs are complete.
- Transport customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to multitask.
- Automotive experience preferred.
- Clear close‑vision required.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Customer service orientation.
- Positive attitude.
- Trustworthy and reliable.
- Willingness to learn.
Physical Requirements
- Pulling, pushing, carrying.
- Walking 5+ miles.
- Ability to sit, stand 5+ minutes, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl 1+ time.
- Operate a motor vehicle.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Work safely near moving mechanical parts.
