Roadside Technician Commercial Tires - Lafayette, LA

• Serve as an emergency response tire technician for semi-truck fleets; dispatch to customer locations to repair or change tires and provide roadside service as needed.
• When there are no service calls pending, assist with mounting orders, cleaning and organizing the shop, and other general duties as required.

• Starting pay: $18.50–$20.00 per hour. After-hours calls can pay up to $40.00 per hour.
• There is a mandatory on-call rotation; after-hours service calls are paid at double time with a minimum of 2 hours per call.
• Example: if a technician accepts, arrives, and completes a call in 45 minutes, they will receive an additional 1 hour 15 minutes of double-time pay.

• Valid driver's license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Previous Commercial Service Tire experience

• Servicing commercial tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary
• Inflating tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements
• Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements including proper PPE, tire cages, and following all safety policies and procedures
