Position Description

As a Developer Engineer at CGI Federal, you will play a vital role in the continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) of high-quality software products. You will collaborate with development, engineering, architecture, testing, and client teams to ensure the successful delivery of accessible and robust applications. This position requires strong technical expertise in multiple programming languages and a commitment to meeting project deadlines.

This position is located in our Lafayette, LA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

• Participate in the CI/CD processes to deliver working software products in collaboration with development, engineering, architecture, testing, and client teams.
• Develop interfaces and applications using multiple programming languages, including Java, C++, HTML, CSS, ARIA, and Python.
• Ensure the development of accessible interfaces and applications, adhering to digital accessibility standards and utilizing common assistive technologies.
• Work independently and collaboratively within a team to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure solutions align with federal standards and mission requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience as a software developer.
• Expertise in multiple programming languages, including Java, C++, HTML, CSS, ARIA, and Python.
• Experience in developing interfaces and applications.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team to meet deadlines.

• Experience in digital accessibility and familiarity with common assistive technologies.
• Proven experience in leading projects and teams.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $80,600.00 - $.
