Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer, DevOps

Description

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Lafayette, Louisiana. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of innovative software solutions, focusing either on Service Now module development or full-stack engineering. This position offers the flexibility of working onsite or remotely if based in Louisiana.

• Develop and customize applications and modules within the Service Now platform.
• Design and implement backend and full-stack features using Java, Python, and Postgre
  
  SQL.
• Ensure software scalability, reliability, and performance through clean coding practices and automated testing.
• Enhance development workflows by incorporating automation tools and Dev Ops methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and QA, to achieve roadmap goals.
• Foster coding, testing, and architectural best practices to maintain high engineering standards.
• Address performance issues and improve service reliability to meet customer expectations.
• Streamline development processes by introducing tools for onboarding and automation.
• Actively contribute to the integration of scalable architecture into enterprise-level solutions.
• Monitor and optimize software to reduce testing instability and system escalations.

• Minimum of 3 years of software engineering experience at a mid‑to‑senior level.
• Proficiency in Service Now development or full-stack development using Java, Python, and Postgre
  
  SQL.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, React.js, and MySQL/Postgre
  
  SQL.
• Familiarity with modern CI/CD processes and version control systems.
• Demonstrated ability to apply quality‑first engineering practices.
• Experience implementing scalable software architectures.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a cross‑functional team environment.
