Job DescriptionThe Direct Sales Agent Specialist (Direct Auto Insurance is an Allstate Business) is responsible for the profitable growth and attainment of business goals by driving new business sales and understanding customers’ needs to build rapport and trust. This role drives sales and builds and retains their book of business within the market / retail location. The position is responsible for attracting and generating new customers and cross-selling existing customers, supporting product offerings including but not limited to Auto, Life, Auto Club, and Roadside Assistance.
The role sells to walk-in customers and markets products outside of the office via marketing calls and in-person visits to create community relationships that promote growth and assist customers in the office.

- P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company
- Successfully closes sales of insurance and ancillary products
- Meets and exceeds sales goals through new product sales, cross-sell / retention of customers
- Leverages community contacts to continually build a sales pipeline and maintain an active physical presence in the community
- Initiate outbound calling to established target customer base for product offerings
- Monitors key competitors in the local market and suggests initiatives to improve the company’s position
- Works with Direct Sales Leadership to plan, implement, and manage marketing and sales processes to achieve goals
- Delivers optimal results within metrics such as quality, quantity, timeliness, productivity, customer satisfaction and financial performance, including compliance with rules and standards
- Understands and remains current on underwriting guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Receives customer payments, issues receipts, and verifies cash drawer reports
Unlicensed Candidates: Base compensation: $17.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Licensed Candidates (Auto or P&C): Base compensation: $20.00 per hour, based on active required license and minimum 6 months of P&C sales experience
Total Compensation: In addition to the base hourly rate, total compensation may include incentive pay such as commissions and bonuses, based on individual and team performance
