Role Description

This is a full-time, or part time on-site role for a jeweler specializing in jewelry repair, based in Lafayette, LA. The jeweler's primary responsibilities will include repairing, restoring, sizing, soldering, watch repair, stones setting, etc… and maintaining a variety of jewelry pieces. The role also entails polishing jewelry to restore its original shine, collaborating with customers to provide exceptional service, and advising clients on proper care for their jewelry.

The ideal candidate will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Jewelry Design and experience with repairing and restoring various types of jewelry
• Skills in Polishing and handling Fashion Jewelry with attention to detail
• Strong Customer Service abilities to communicate effectively and provide excellent client support
• Willingness to participate in Training to refine and enhance skills as required
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Prior experience in jewelry repair is strongly preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in jewelry design or repair is a plus
