As a Senior Meat Cutter you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

• Be a Team Member:
  Collaborates with cross functional teams and educates other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicates effectively and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service; flexible to business needs; tracks goods, maintains in-stock levels, and controls shrinkage.
• Be an Expert:
  Maintains in-depth knowledge of meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations; processes meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping); ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment.
• Be a Techie:
  Leverages digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; uses handheld technology to inform production, training, and product quality decisions with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages adoption.
• Be an Owner:
  Drives business results with focus on operational excellence, profitability, and proper housekeeping; ensures quality and standards for high-volume meat products; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled and stored.
• Be a Talent Ambassador:
  Advocates for the department and club by prioritizing the member experience in meat; models high-quality service and products; supports training for others.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics; follows Open Door Policy and applies these in business processes.
• Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; identifies priorities and deadlines; communicates progress and opportunities for improvement.

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $25.00. Actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage for the location. Premiums may apply in certain circumstances (e.g., schedule, facility, season).

Minimum Qualifications

• 6 months’ experience in a fresh production department
• Must be 18 years of age or older
