The Manager Trainee position is located in Lafayette, LA, and is employed by an independent franchisee that operates a McDonald's restaurant. This franchisee is the sole employer responsible for hiring, scheduling, and all employment matters.

• Lead weekly shifts, ensuring fast, accurate, friendly customer service.
• Oversee Department Managers (Guest Service, Kitchen, People) and manage assigned systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory.
• Ensure staff receive proper training, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results.
• Maintain service excellence at the Front Counter, McCafé, and Drive‑Thru areas.
• Guarantee food quality, safety, and cost control while training kitchen staff on new menu items.
• Recruit, train, and schedule crew to meet sales and profit goals, and recognize and motivate employees.

• Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally in restaurant, retail or hospitality settings.
• Positive team player with flexible schedule and passion for fast‑paced environments.
• Must be 18 years or older.
