Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team. This vital role requires a dedicated professional capable of delivering expert patient care, utilizing advanced clinical skills, and collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team. If you bring experience in ICU settings and a commitment to excellence, this opportunity offers a rewarding environment to advance your nursing career.
Pay Package: $2,136 Weekly Pay
Shift: 7pm - 7am
Required Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current RN license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience, including familiarity with EPIC documentation systems.
- Proficiency in the Nursing Process, with the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; able to present information clearly and professionally.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with applicable software and web-based applications.
- Demonstrated good judgment and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to adapt communication to diverse patient populations.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Certification in a clinical specialty area.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association.
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification with a 12-month blue card from the Crisis Prevention Institute.
- Knowledge of EPIC documentation system.
- Physical ability to perform heavy work, including exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and frequently.
- Must work in a patient care environment involving exposure to blood, body fluids, and potentially communicable diseases.
- May require flexible shift hours and adherence to infection control protocols.
- Licensing and certifications must be current and maintained accordingly.
