• Leadership and Supervision:
  Assist in hiring and training, assign and monitor staff work and schedules, maintain attendance data for payroll, manage performance data, address behavioral issues, coach and mentor staff, participate in performance reviews, facilitate patient throughput during admission/discharge/transfer, and serve as a clinical resource to staff.
• Clinical Practice and Care Management:
  Perform psychosocial/physiologic assessments, formulate plans of care, tailor care to individual needs (including cultural/ethical/spiritual factors), plan routine transitional health care needs, respond to changes in patient needs with holistic care, adapt educational programs to individuals and families, ensure efficiency in care delivery, advocate for patient rights, identify variances from outcomes, evaluate and revise care plans, and document all patient care activities per standards.
• Communication and

  Consistently communicate with care team, patients, and families; delegate care activities appropriately; participate in staff assignments for productivity; stay informed about unit initiatives and incorporate outcomes into practice; participate in unit teams and committees.
• Quality and Professional Development:
  Contribute to unit-based quality initiatives, follow standards and pathways, apply evidence-based practice, mentor and support team members, pursue lifelong learning, and ensure ongoing competencies.

• Progressive clinical and patient care experience; eighteen months and previous charge supervisory experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Proficient in English (verbal and written), computer skills.
• Current Louisiana RN license and current BLS certification.
