We’re looking for a seasoned professional like you to help lead our Linux administration efforts, ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our systems. This position requires strong knowledge of RHEL 7‑9, with experience in STIG hardening and Ansible.

This position is located in our Lafayette, LA (or Knoxville, TN, Belton, TX, Lebanon, VA Or Fairfax, VA) office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

• Support the Linux environment for the database team.
• Development of user documentation and guidelines.
• Development of presentation material.
• Investigate, collaborate, and resolve production jobs and job failures.
• Support weekend maintenance activities to apply changes during non-peak hours.
• Provide input to continuous improvement of Linux Administration and Support.
• Implement STIG hardening standard for required systems.
• Utilize Ansible to manage client machines and automate processes.

• Excellent communication and written skills.
• Proficiency in Linux Patching/upgrading.
• Proficiency with Linux commands and shell scripting
• Proficiency with Linux troubleshooting
• Proficiency with Ansible and Ansible Tower
• Proficiency in High Availability and Disaster Recovery
• Proficiency in Linux Performance Tuning
• Proficiency in STIG hardening
• Master’s degree and 5+ years of experience in a training-related field
• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience in a training-related field
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust

• Solid working knowledge of Azure
• Experience supporting databases running on Linux.
• Experience with working with Federal Government clients

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $71,700.00 - $.
