Sr. DevOps Engineer

Position Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Dev Ops Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects by leveraging their expertise in Linux-based systems and cloud technologies. As a Senior Dev Ops Engineer at CGI Federal, you will be responsible for understanding the overall CI/CD pipeline as well as deploying and configuring services using Infrastructure as a Service providers.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems, while driving continuous improvement and automation. This position is located in our Lafayette, LA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

• Manage a Dev Ops team, implementing, and executing processes to create and fully maintain automated CI / CD pipelines for application deployments
• Manage version control systems
• Configure, build, deploy, and manage containers
• Provide technical expertise to ensure the ongoing support, maintenance, and optimization of client applications.
• Configure and manage Linux-based servers to serve a dynamic website.

• 4+ Years' experience managing a Dev Ops team implementing a cloud-based solution
• 4+ Years experience with Git/Gitlab, Terraform (or similar IaC tool) and AWS
• 4+ Years managing a Dev Ops team that supports 5 or more engineering teams
• Possess experience working in a dynamic, highly collaborative environment
• Be comfortable with Agile approaches.
• Have a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Possess strong troubleshooting skills
