This position involves providing direct patient care to meet healthcare needs in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

• Provide direct patient care in outpatient and inpatient settings as directed by contract, develop treatment plans, and assess patient responses to treatment, ensuring high-quality healthcare services.
• Offer high-quality care on an on-call basis and in rotation with other physicians to meet patient needs at all times.
• Investigate new techniques, practices, and equipment to maximize quality and efficiency of healthcare services.
• Assist in developing and implementing continuous quality improvement programs and participate in multidisciplinary efforts, ensuring services are delivered with compassion and respect.
• Ensure the application of the hospital's mission, philosophy, policies, and procedures to promote high-quality healthcare and departmental effectiveness.
• Stay current with the latest trends in the field through seminars, workshops, conferences, and professional affiliations to promote personal and departmental growth.
• Collaborate with other physicians to ensure high-quality, technologically advanced healthcare services.
• Participate in educational programs, in-service meetings, and training sessions to share expertise and enhance education and growth for staff and students.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

• MD degree
• Current unrestricted Louisiana Medical License
