The Program Director of Health and Wellness will manage our growing wellness offerings, with a focus on day-to-day operations of the branch Health & Wellness program areas (i.e., Personal Training, Group Exercise, Active Older Adult (AOA), Wellness Floor and Fitness Consultations). This management-level position ensures that our programs and staff meet the needs and exceed the expectations of our strong-minded, strong-bodied members and community.
You will also work closely with the Executive Director to develop strategies to increase established revenue goals, member retention and engagement.

- Minimum age requirements of 21.
- Bachelor's degree in the field of exercise science or related.
- Minimum 2-years of experience in H&F, staff supervision and budget responsibilities.
- Current certifications to teach group exercise classes and personal training.
- CPR/First Aid and BBP will be required within 30 days of hire and will need to be maintained
- Ability to work with a wide range of age groups, demographics and have ability to collaborate well with groups and individuals.
- Strong people skills to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
- Ability and desire to embrace the mission of the YMCA.
- Lead by example in mission-driven customer service and the implementation of lifestyle choices.
- Technical equipment knowledge and demonstrated competency in program delivery and leadership.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
