This is a full-time, on-site role for a Direct Service Worker in the Lafayette, Louisiana Metropolitan Area. The Direct Service Worker will provide support services to individuals with specific care needs, including daily living assistance, meal preparation, transportation, and companionship. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe environment, implementing personalized care plans, monitoring clients' well-being, and ensuring their comfort. The role requires adherence to healthcare guidelines and a compassionate approach to care delivery.

• Proficiency in Communication and Interpersonal Skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members
• Experience in Personal Care, Daily Living Assistance, and Client Support
• Organizational and Problem-Solving Skills to manage daily tasks and address challenges effectively
• Basic Knowledge of Safety and Healthcare Protocols
• Patience and Compassionate Approach to working with diverse individuals
• Flexibility and Dependability in meeting the needs of clients
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in a caregiving role is an advantage
