Acadiana Management Group, LLC dba AMG‑Integrated Healthcare Management (AMG), an employee‑owned company, is hiring a full‑time Managed Care Assistant in Lafayette, Louisiana. The Managed Care Assistant reports directly to and works with the Vice President of Managed Care; and is knowledgeable of healthcare managed care contracts or contracting.

Responsibilities
  • Work analytically with data to provide statistical reporting for company leadership.
  • Update and maintain various databases related to managed care contracts.
  • Track timeliness and track contract renewals and changes.
  • Load contracts, amendments and other documents as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with payors to manage timelines and follow‑ups.
Qualifications
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1‑2 years of experience with managed care contracting, preferably in the hospital setting.
  • Intermediate computer knowledge, including MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical and detail‑oriented skills.
  • Organized, able to multi‑task, and manage timelines, deadlines, and follow‑ups with payors.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
