Financial Advisor

The Financial Advisor serves customers of Gulf Coast Bank by providing investment, retirement, and wealth management guidance. This role is responsible for understanding client needs, recommending appropriate products and services, and ensuring compliance with all applicable bank policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

• Build and maintain client relationships through trust-based financial advice.
• Identify client investment objectives, risk tolerance, and financial goals.
• Recommend appropriate products and services consistent with client needs and regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct all business in compliance with FINRA, SEC, and applicable banking regulations.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions and transactions.
• Collaborate with internal bank staff to identify referral opportunities and support client service.
• Stay current with market trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.
• Uphold the highest standards of integrity, confidentiality, and customer service.

• Active securities and insurance licenses as required (e.g., Series 7, 66, state insurance license).
• Demonstrated experience in financial advising, investments, or wealth management.
• Strong communication, relationship‑building, and sales skills.
• Ability to operate with professionalism and sound ethical judgment.

• Must adhere to Gulf Coast Bank’s policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
• Must maintain all necessary professional licenses and continuing education requirements.
• Must maintain confidentiality of client and bank information.
