Accountant / Senior Accountant

This position plays a key role in supporting the Company’s accounting and financial reporting functions. This position is responsible for the month-end close process, maintaining the general ledger, reviewing financial statements, and providing analytical support to operations and leadership. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on, detail‑oriented professional who can operate independently while collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams.

• Support and execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements and supporting schedules
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAP
• Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Prepare and file sales and use tax reports and support other compliance and external reporting requirements
• Oversee and support the accounts receivable function, including billing accuracy, collections support, and aging analysis
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc analytical reports to support management decision‑making
• Perform cost and margin analysis for individual field jobs or projects, partnering with operations as needed
• Assist with audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor requests
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiencies
• Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
• Minimum of 2 years of general ledger accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
• Experience with month‑end close and account reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting/ERP systems preferred

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Team‑oriented, collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross‑functionally
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment

• Experience in a multi‑location, project‑based, or field‑services environment
• Sales tax and compliance reporting experience
• Prior experience supporting audits or external reporting
