About

The Role

What You Will Do:

The Kitchen Supervisor will plan food service for the summer camp season and supervise the kitchen staff.

How You Will Lead

  • To work with the summer camp kitchen supervisor to ensure that all food has been ordered and there is enough inventory to supply the kitchen’s needs.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and volunteers and coordinate kitchen staff schedules.
  • Train summer staff on Kitchen safety procedures and general rules of kitchen/dining hall.
  • Responsible for inventory of food and kitchen supplies.
  • Responsible for keeping an accurate budget for summer food costs.
  • Function in conjunction with camping programs and communicate with administrative staff as necessary.
  • These are not the only duties to be performed. Some duties may be reassigned, and other duties may be assigned as required.
