We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations in a freezer environment. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and staging product while maintaining accurate inventory and following company safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Receive and verify inbound product
- Store and organize product in freezer warehouse using proper rotation (FIFO)
- Pick and stage orders as required
- Operate forklifts and loading equipment safely
- Assist with loading/unloading trailers
- Follow all safety policies and perform other duties as assigned
- Forklift experience preferred; must obtain company certification (including high-lift certification)
- Ability to follow directions and work independently
- Basic math, reading, and communication skills
- Strong teamwork and time management skills
- Ability to climb stairs/ladders
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Bilingual Spanish/English skills are encouraged but not required. Employment decisions are based on qualifications, merit, and business needs.
- Starting pay: $18.49 per hour
- Increase to $19.49 per hour upon successful completion of company high-lift forklift certification requirements
- Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM - Overtime and weekend work may be required based on operational needs

- Freezer environment up to -20°F and high noise levels
- Standing for extended periods; frequent lifting up to 50 lbs
- Repetitive stacking (approximately 400-500 cases per shift)
- Frequent stooping, kneeling, and reaching
- Ability to safely place pallets on racks up to 40 feet high
- Vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
