Residential Electrician

Location:

Lafayette, Indiana (jobsites in and around the Indianapolis area)

Hours:

Full-Time

• Install, maintain and repair electrical systems for Residential Homes and Multifamily Buildings.
• Residential and Multifamily Electrical experience required.
• Interpret blueprints and project documents.
• Self‑motivated, positive, professional of approach.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ensure and maintain safe projects to meet company and OSHA safety guidelines.
• Maintain personal knowledge of NEC Code & installed products.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Complete rough‑in to include measuring, cutting, and pulling wire.
• Correct potential hazards promptly or report them to responsible person.
• Communicate with others, including taking direction from a supervisor and providing clear direction.

• Minimum of three (3) years of electrical experience.
• Knowledge of the NEC Code.
• Valid Driver’s License meeting company minimum driving standards.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Highly knowledgeable of materials, methods, and tools involved in the Electrical Construction Industry.
• Working knowledge of the Electrical Construction residential and multifamily process.
• Physical ability to bend, crouch, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, and work on ladders and scaffolds.
• Pass and comply with all safety training, background check and drug testing requirements.
