Wintek Business Account Executive

If you just said “yes” four times and have an unstoppable work ethic, Wintek Business Solutions (WBS) wants you out in front as our Business Account Executive. We offer strategic, value-added technology solutions to regional businesses and need a high-energy individual to expand our footprint as the business arm of Tipmont, an electric and fiber cooperative in north central Indiana.

As the WBS Business Account Executive, you won’t merely manage accounts. You’ll hunt them. That means you’re tech‑savvy, hungry for sales and passionate about outworking the competition. You’ll have an office, but you won’t be tethered to its desk. You’ll knock doors in the communities we serve, shake hands and uncover opportunities where others see dead ends.

    You can look at a business’s pain points and craft solutions they didn’t even know they needed.
Five crucial components of your role:
  • The Pursuit:
    Generate, prospect and hunt down new leads with aggressive networking, cold calls and door‑to‑door outreach.
  • The Pitch:
    Present WBS fiber and technology solutions with so much passion and clarity that no one can deny their value.
  • The Victory:
    Manage sales cycles from the first hello to the final signature with confidence and conviction.
  • The Relationship:
    You’ll be the face of WBS to local businesses, building a network of influencers and decision‑makers.
  • The Strategy:
    Stay up to date on trends and ahead of competitors to ensure WBS remains our market’s premier choice.

Required Skills:
  • Associate’s degree in sales, technology, business or a related field
  • Extreme motivation with a hunter’s mindset
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently from the jump
  • Tech‑savvy knowledge and adaptability to quickly learn and communicate complex fiber and broadband solutions
Preferred

Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, technology, business or a related field
  • Two to three years of outside sales and/or B2B sales experience
  • Experience in and knowledge of fiber broadband technology
