Retail Merchandising Specialist

Overview

Retail Merchandising Specialist at BDS Connected Solutions, LLC. This is an ongoing, part-time opportunity with a weekly pay schedule, paid training, and a variety of assignments across consumer electronics brands.

• Travel to assigned retail stores to conduct visits within your territory
• Audit, maintain, and install consumer electronics displays and products (TVs, tablets, headphones, speakers, printers, phones)
• Occasionally partner with team members to complete 2–3-person projects (e.g., appliance or TV installs)
• Build and maintain positive in-store relationships
• Complete assignments as directed by your BDS Manager
• Ensure reporting is completed on time from your mobile device
• Schedule and complete work per BDS Standards and Onboarding guidance
• Receive materials at home or pick up at Fed Ex and transport to store locations as requested
• Other tasks as requested by management

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Previous merchandising, customer service, and/or retail experience preferred

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to collaborate with BDS and in-store personnel
• Proficient with personal Android or Apple devices (smartphone/tablet) with GPS to upload photos, report data, and reference documents
• Own a basic toolkit (BDS provides toolkit cost reimbursement after successful completion of probation)
• Basic toolkit includes: multi-screwdriver, torx bits, hammer, cordless drill, allen wrench, box cutter, rubber mallet, socket set, needle-nose pliers, precision wire cutters, crescent wrench, putty knife, microfiber cloth, Goo Gone
• Able to complete paid BDS online training courses within the required timeline before working in-store
• Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

• Flexible availability Monday – Friday, early morning to midday, with occasional weekend hours
• Minimum 20 hours per week
• Ability to drive for the company with reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance
• Ability to travel within a designated market up to a 60-mile radius (drive time and mileage paid)

The pay range is based on factors including experience, education, skills, and market data. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process and comply with applicable laws.
