FOOD SERVICE WORKER (ON CALL) at Chartwells School Dining Services K12 in West Lafayette, IN.

On call, Monday through Friday on school days. Hours may vary; details upon interview.

Pay Range: $13.50–$14.50 per hour.

• Prepare, present, and serve food as needed.
• Perform prep work (washing, peeling, cutting, seeding fruits and vegetables).
• Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
• Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
• Utilize approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
• Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
