Description:

This position is for a registered nurse specializing in Med/Surg.
You will work in a resource team that supports various units.
The unit has 27-30 beds with patient ratios of 1:5, 1:6.
You will have access to equipment such as Alaris pumps, Kangaroo pumps, and Pyxis for medications.
The electronic medical record system used is Epic.
You will care for patients with orthopedic and general surgeries, back surgeries, GI issues, renal conditions, oncology, and general medical needs.
A key requirement is the ability to manage Heparin drips and administer blood products.
You should possess skills in general and orthopedic post-operative care.
Ideal candidates are independent but also willing to seek assistance when needed.
You should be capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and be flexible.
The dress code includes navy blue scrubs, and certain attire is not acceptable.
Prior to the first day, completion of specific education modules may be required.
