Position
Purpose:
Work with a highly competent and efficient team in a fast-paced production environment with many career development opportunities.
Position: Supplier Quality Engineer
Location: Lafayette, IN
Job Responsibilities- Review rejects from both incoming quality inspection and production floor.
- Investigate critical quality issues, create problem statements and communicate to the cross-functional team.
- Manage and coordinate the containment activities (sorting/rework) to minimize the impact on production operations due to quality issues.
- Support problem solving and continuous improvement projects.
- Coordinate the disposition of Process Change Notifications and Deviations.
- Years of experience: 2-4 years in the manufacturing industry.
- Degree requirement:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

- Data collection analysis
- Problem solving and critical thinking
- Gages and measurements
- MS Office Software (Outlook/Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of internal combustion engines
- ASQ CQE certification
