The Large Power Systems Division in Lafayette, IN currently has an opening for an Outdoor Distribution Technician. In this role you will be responsible for material availability for assembly consumption. The primary focus for the Outdoor Distribution Technician will be moving material to the assembly line via stand‑up or sit‑down fork truck.

• Moving material to the assembly line via stand‑up fork truck
• Helping Stores Controller maintain inventory accuracy on production parts
• Making sure material is delivered to point of use in FIFO order
• Must be willing to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions

• Must have at least 2 years of stand‑up fork truck experience
• Must have good written and oral communication skills
• Self‑motivated, safety‑conscious individual capable of working independently
• Basic computer skills

• Be flexible to work overtime as needed to support production demands
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and apply customer‑based focus

• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs
• Must be able to bend and twist at the waist and be able to squat
• Stand on concrete for 8+ hours

• Location of this position is in Lafayette, IN
• Position available is on 2nd shift (2:30pm – 10:30pm)
• Relocation assistance is not offered for this position
• 13 days/104 hours of Personal Time Off (PTO) – prorated based upon start date
• 11 paid holidays
• 40‑hour work weeks with potential for overtime
