Provides support to operations by performing tasks related to scale and utility duties in a safe and efficient manner.

• Perform first‑hour duties, including:
  • Organize the package area
  • Order supplies if not forklift qualified
  • Take daily samples to the lab with labels on red tags (if on night shift)
  • Scale finished product as needed
  • Build pallets
  • Run scrap in scrap area
  • Remove scrap spools from skids and stack them
  • Assist the Group Leader as needed
  • Maintain perimeter housekeeping
  • Follow all safe work instructions, company policies and procedures
  • All other work‑related duties as assigned

12‑Hour Shift on 2‑2‑3 rotation with 6‑week swing: 8 am – 8 pm (days) for 6 weeks & 8 pm – 8 am (nights) for 6 weeks.

• Physical Demands:
  • Regularly required to talk and hear.
  • Very active: standing, sitting, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, climbing stairs, reaching above and below chest level.
  • Requires handling items over 50 lb, exposure to chemical, non‑toxic fumes or dust.
  • Vision requirements include close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception.
• Work Environment:
  • Exposure to cold temperatures 100° F.
  • Well lit; noise level may exceed 85 dB; hearing protection required.
  • May need to enter confined spaces.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and handle stress.
• Forklift qualification.
• Basic computer, reading, writing and math skills.
• Demonstrated ability to master required skills.

• Experience with magnet wire manufacturing.
