The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the operation and maintenance of go-karts and track functionality, ensuring staff operate go-karts with optimal safety while providing a fun guest experience. The Maintenance Technician is professionally responsible for keeping go-karts running smoothly and efficiently.

• Perform diversified duties and repairs to maintain go-karts.
• Provide unscheduled repairs of attractions as needed when issues arise.
• Perform scheduled maintenance of go-karts, including daily, weekly, monthly, and annual checklists to ensure attractions are safe and properly lubricated.
• Ensure all work on attractions adheres to manufacturer procedures and guidelines.
• Adhere to maintenance schedules set forth by manufacturers without deviation.
• Maintain documentation and repair logs, including annual inspections, NDT testing, and bearing lubrication monitoring, and submit to the Shop & Attractions Manager.
• Perform in-season checklists and mechanical work including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of attractions.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, including torque wrenches and spray equipment.
• Detect faulty operations or defective materials and report observations to supervision.
• Comply with OSHA safety regulations and maintain clean, orderly work areas.
• Review processes and procedures to identify efficiency improvements.

• Create a positive safety culture ensuring safety of employees and visitors at all times.
• Ensure compliance with Five Star Parks and Attractions standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Must be able and willing to stand or walk for up to 10-hour shifts.

• High school or equivalent required. Associate’s degree or related technical school degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years of maintenance-related experience.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain government-required licenses, certificates, or permits.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
• Highly organized with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in a loud environment.
