Maintenance Assistant Opportunity at Aster Place Assisted Living
Part-time. The Maintenance Assistant assists the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the community’s physical plant and grounds ensuring a safe, attractive and enjoyable living environment for our residents, staff and the public.
Responsibilities- Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the community’s physical plant and grounds.
- Contribute to a safe, attractive and enjoyable living environment for residents, staff and visitors.
- Skills Needed:
- Physical Abilities: Stamina, strength and endurance to provide maintenance services.
- Supportive Presence: Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
- Teamwork: Ability to work toward a common goal of excellent care for residents.
- Requirements:
- Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers and staff. Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence
- Prior maintenance experience preferred.
- Knowledge in electrical, heating and cooling helpful.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
