Maintenance Assistant Opportunity at Aster Place Assisted Living

Part-time. The Maintenance Assistant assists the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the community’s physical plant and grounds ensuring a safe, attractive and enjoyable living environment for our residents, staff and the public.

• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the community’s physical plant and grounds.
• Contribute to a safe, attractive and enjoyable living environment for residents, staff and visitors.

• Skills Needed:
• Physical Abilities: Stamina, strength and endurance to provide maintenance services.
• Supportive Presence: Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Teamwork: Ability to work toward a common goal of excellent care for residents.

• Requirements:
• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers and staff. Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence
• Prior maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge in electrical, heating and cooling helpful.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
