Job Description Your Mission

As an Senior SEO Manager you are responsible for driving organic growth from Search Engines and AI Search Interfaces within multiple of SMG’s business units (e.g. Real Estate, Automotive, General Marketplaces or Finance). You won’t just optimize pages — you will help shape product features, scalable landing page systems and platform capabilities that generate long‑term organic growth across platforms our users search.

You act as the bridge between Product, Engineering, Marketing and Data, ensuring SEO becomes an integrated part of how we build products.

: turn user demand into scalable platform growth.

What you will do Growth & Strategy
  • Own and execute Roadmap Initiatives
  • Translate search demand into product initiatives and growth opportunities
  • Plan initiatives based on hypotheses, impact estimation and ROI potential
  • Identify scalable growth levers (indexation, internal linking, landing page generation, content systems)
  • Understand user behaviour across different search & discovery platforms and adapt your strategy accordingly
Product‑Led SEO
  • Work closely with Product Managers to integrate SEO into product development
  • Define SEO requirements for new features and platform capabilities that are scalable across SMGs Portfolio
  • Build frameworks that enable growth beyond manual optimizations
  • Help teams understand why SEO matters, not just what to implement
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Act as trusted advisor for Product, Engineering and Marketing
  • Communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Drive alignment and ownership across teams
Data & Experimentation
  • Build hypotheses and validate them with data
  • Monitor performance and iterate based on learnings
  • Measure success via business impact, not vanity metrics
  • Work with analysts and engineers to improve tracking and reporting
Qualifications

What will you bring to the ride?

  • 5+ years SEO experience on large websites (marketplaces, classifieds, real estate or platforms)
  • Experience working with Product teams and agile environments
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills
  • Data‑driven mindset with ability to turn insights into actions
  • Ability to plan initiatives and support them with business impact estimates
  • Hands‑on knowledge of technical SEO (crawling, indexing, rendering)
  • A proactive, ownership‑driven “go‑getter” attitude
  • Growth mindset and curiosity for experimentation
  • Fluency in English
Bonus
  • Experience in Product‑Led SEO
