This is a full-time role for a Human Resources Manager based in Lafayette, IN. The Human Resources Manager will oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, and compliance with company policies to align workforce practices with organizational goals. Responsibilities include developing HR strategies, managing benefits programs, supervising employee training, new hire onboarding, supporting organizational development initiatives, and ensuring regulatory compliance related to HR practices.
The role demands proactive collaboration with leadership to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Experience in talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee retention
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace communication
- Familiarity with HR compliance, benefits administration, and employment laws
- Ability to develop and implement training programs and organizational development initiatives
- Proven leadership, decision-making, and strategic thinking skills
- Proficiency with HR technologies and software tools (Paycom is a plus)
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR certification is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
