• Provide general laboratory services including specimen collection using routine venipuncture, order entry, blood component preparation, specimen receipt, waived testing, pre-analytic processing of specimens, and related clerical tasks such as entering orders into the system, confirming validity of each specimen, answering phone calls, and managing faxes.
• Serve as the point of contact for patient and specimen registration and delivery of specimens.
• Maintain accurate records and perform repeated tasks over prolonged periods.

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Completion of a phlebotomy training program with experience in laboratory or coursework in biological, chemical or related science preferred.
• May require a valid Indiana Operators license and good driving history for the last three years.
• May require understanding of traffic laws in the State of Indiana.
• Proven computer skills.
• Telephone skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks for prolonged periods of time.
• May serve on appropriate committees or projects that contribute to the overall purpose and essential functions of the department.

Full Time – Nights – Third shift position; 9:00 pm to 7:30 am with an 8‑day on, 6‑day off rotation. Every other weekend. Every other holiday.
