RCS Associate - Arnett Emergency Department Registration

Overview

Onsite at Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, IN. 2-week rotating schedule: 6a-6p x3 days, 1 half shift (6a-12p or 12p-6a, alternating weeks.)

This position is responsible for the delivery of customer facing services within Revenue Cycle System Services. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, in-room registration, insurance verification, release of information and customer service. Position adheres to departmental productivity, quality, and service standards in support of operational goals.

• Verify patient identity
• Enter accurate demographic and insurance data
• Obtain required forms such as consents and Medicare forms as needed
• Provide compassionate customer service in high-stress situations.

At least one year of experience in hospital or physician Revenue Cycle strongly preferred. Requires working knowledge of patient registration and financial clearance. Requires the ability to work within a team and maintain collaborative relationships. Requires the ability to take initiative and meet objectives.
