Swoon is hiring for a Global Manufacturing Client in Lafayette, IN.
This is a 6-month contract to start with benefits - health, dental & vision (50% of premium is covered for contractor).
Position’s Contributions to Work GroupThis position plays a critical role in managing and dispositioning Process Change Notifications (PCNs) and Deviations
, acting as the catalyst for bringing cross-functional teams together to resolve urgent quality issues. The role directly supports production continuity by mitigating downtime risk, improving response time to quality events, and balancing workload across the supplier quality organization. This addition will significantly improve team efficiency and morale by reducing overload on existing staff.
Ensure purchased parts and supplier processes meet quality standards to protect production, product performance, and customer expectations.

Typical Task Breakdown- Review rejects from incoming inspection and production floor.
- Investigate critical quality issues and develop clear problem statements.
- Communicate findings to cross-functional teams.
- Manage and coordinate containment activities (sorting/rework).
- Support problem solving and continuous improvement projects.
- Coordinate disposition of PCNs and Deviations.
- Daily collaboration with Supplier Quality, Production, Engineering, Supplier Development, Logistics, and third-party service providers.
